Headphonauts

This is an idea I am working on. I am using Sound Forge 6.0e and a f#*ked up copy of the song "40 days" by Billy Brooks I found on Youtube. It is a pretty famous break. When I do this project for real, I will do it on the MPC 500 or in Reason 3.0.

To be honest...I think it is too fast. It will sound and feel different after I chop it up for real in a drum machine and use more parts of the sample. This little idea only uses the first 11 seconds of the sample and then uses pitch bend and time shift DSP to make the key changes. I am not sure if I want to do it that way when I redo this idea. I will definately need to find an LP or CD version of this break. I think I have it on an Alpha-Omega Breaks 12" with RAMP's "Daylight" on the other side. I need to look for that.....hmm?!?!?!
