Message To Mikkeal: The Artist Formerly Known As Micheal Jackson

Is Mikkeal Jackson going to Islam to protect himself from the Illuminati or other minions of Satan? Hell, I don't know but if you google his name and Illuminati or Satan or NWO you will find some pretty compelling arguments ranging from Micheal Jackson being a victim of Satanic influences to Micheal Jackson is the devil himself.

Mostly I get a kick out of that sort of stuff...not to say I believe it or not...I'll just say I can see it either way you put it. Do your own homework....tell me what you think.

For this mix I wanted to just bring forward the question. When you look at his associations, his rituals, their rituals...it makes for an interesting case. Like I said, do some "Googling", tell me what you think.

When I started making this audio mix I was mostly thinking about what sounded good together...both rhythmically and harmonically. In some ways I passed the test, but I tend to hold myself to a high bar--knowing such great DJ's like Seattle's DJ Sho-nuph, Vitaman D, and my favorite blend artist, DJ Topspin (a.k.a Blendiana Jones). I guess for a "non turntablist" it will pass, but I would love to do this again with better copies of the music and with vinyl only (as I used a combination of vinyl and low rez mp3s...boy you can hear it).

Growing up Micheal Jackson was one of my idols...well maybe until I discovered Prince. Back in the mid-eighties I think that is was an unwritten rule that you could only like one or the other of these artist. It is funny now 30 years later how the fates of the '80s bad boy (Prince) and Pop music's patron saint (Micheal) has changed.

To me, Micheal Jackson's life is a metaphor for so many things...his tragedy could have been written by the Greeks as it is the classic struggle of temptation, indulgence; good versus evil. His rise and fall seems to parallel the fate of the nation he is so identified by. As he was just a simple black boy from Indiana that danced and sung his way from poverty of the inner city into being a house hold name...then one of the most recognizable and loved figures on the planet.

As the story goes on our "character" becomes one of the most hated men for deeds he claimed not to have done and as a result has fell from grace in the eyes of many of his fans. He has lost the deed to his sacred home and is deeply in debt. His debt has him traveling the world, often compromising his former beliefs to align with rich foreign entities. Now if that ain't an American story...what is?

When I started making the little video, I found that I was caught in between the making of several different points...Micheal as a victim of fame...Micheal, manipulated by the ones closet to him...Micheal, a pawn of the multinational corporation...Micheal, a spokesperson for "Americanism"...Mikkeal, the saint of Semitic beliefs--the messenger.

I am not feeling deep enuff to write about the other associations I see with Micheal Jackson and the occult or the Illuminati...to much sunshine in Seattle today (and we ain't known for having it).
I will do some writing later...but for now, just enjoy the 3 mixes. I did them "mash-up" style with Mikkeal's songs "Don't Stop Till You Get Enuff", "Cant Help It", and "They Dont Really Care About Us". I start and end the mix with "Message to Micheal" sung by Dionne Warwick....no stranger to the occult herself. All songs are very fitting to describe the rise and fall of our beloved superstar.

We Love you Mikkeal...all things considered.
